Creating the Perfect Craft Space with Photowall

So I live in a pretty small house and we only have 3 bedrooms. We currently have 2 kids and at first we had them each in their own room but decided to put them in a shared bedroom. So the second bedroom we transformed into a playroom and office/craft room combined. I do a lot of crafting and needed a space where I could have all my craft supplies in one spot. Due to limited space I only have enough room to use this corner. So I transformed this corner into the perfect craft space. Below is a before and after as well as all the details.

BEFORE

AFTER

I needed this space to be functional and I wanted it to look nice at the same time.

First thing I added was this rolling cart I found on Walmart's website. This was the perfect addition because it gave me a space to put my Cricut machine without taking up space on my desk and it can be moved if I need my Cricut somewhere else. I love the extra storage it gave me. I placed my heat presses on the second shelf as well as put other craft supplies in a storage basket for better organization. Each drawer contains vinyl, craft paper and other supplies.

This storage basket was perfect for organizing my paint, craft sticks and all my craft adhesives.

Next I added some accessories to my desk to help keep everything organized. I got this desk mat from Amazon and I love that it provides a surface for all of my projects and makes the desk look nicer. I found the storage caddy's at Walmart in the clearance section.

I love this caddy for its ability to keep all my tools and supplies organized and easily accessible.

I did this transformation in December, right before Christmas and wanted to add a few Christmas touches just for fun. I used this Santa mug as a pen holder to keep all of my markers, pens and other supplies so they were easy to get to.

I found this pink ceramic Christmas tree dish and it was the perfect way to keep my hot glue gun and tape organized. I found the magazine bins at Walmart and they are perfect for storing rulers and extra transfer tape.

I use this closet to store a majority of my supplies and had this blank door I knew I could do something with. I found this over the door vinyl roll holder on Amazon and it worked perfect with my space. No more having to dig through baskets of vinyl to find the color that I need!

I found this pink office chair on Walmart's website during their Black Friday sale. I loved that it fit perfectly with my pink theme and it is a very decent chair for the price.

The final piece to this puzzle was the blank space above the desk. I knew I needed something to go there. I found Photowall.com and just happened upon this beautiful canvas print that once again matched my pink theme and it's so pretty!
